Packaging Design

OUR ROLE
With the theme, we reflect on how a graphic design work may interact with nature and, even worse, bring a negative impact and jeopardize the environment through our practice. Packaging design is one of them. In high consumerism and fierce competition, packaging has shifted from mere function to a captivating showcase on the shelf meant to win human hearts.
Brands often invest in stunning packaging without realizing the harm it can cause the environment. Together, with other multidisciplinary designers, we envision an alternative approach to packaging creation and design that upholds creativity and responsibility and honors the planet that has provided us with resources.
CONCEPT PHILOSOPHY
In our dreams, a vision takes shape – crafting packaging that honors the Earth’s abundant grace. Once of the land, it journeys back to its origin, a poetic return. We take, and we also give, in a rhythmic exchange echoing nature’s song.
Our purpose is to kindle inspiration and illustrate that embracing responsibility and mindfulness is a tangible choice, especially for those in the realm of design. As designers, it’s our role to unveil this potential. Yes, it may require a greater investment, but could this not be a meaningful sacrifice for a lengthened stay in the sanctuary we know as home?
Once of the land, it journeys back to its origin, a poetic return.
Made of natural
Our packaging prototypes are created using natural paper and ink, ensuring a minimal ecological footprint. Natural paper crafted by Alvstudio, sourced from sustainable forests, forms the canvas for our innovative designs. Meanwhile, our use of eco-friendly ink minimizes environmental impact, from concept to creation.
No added glue
Our packaging prototypes are designed in a lock and fold method that eliminates the need for added glue. This approach not only enhances the structural integrity of our packaging but also aligns perfectly with our commitment to eco-friendliness. By eliminating glue, we reduce waste and environmental impact while delivering packaging that seamlessly combines form and function.
Reusable for paper and ink plant soil
Our designs are meant to be transformed into natural plant nourishment. By shredding this packaging and incorporating it into your home garden, you close the sustainability loop, enriching the soil and supporting plant growth.

INSTALLATION
During the event, Exhibitre displayed the packaging in a 1×1 installation as a learning pod for “Better Impack.” It is orchestrated with fast-growing wood structures and packaged with a biodegradable material: Lantung Wood fibers.
The learning pod is an interactive space where one can learn about environmental responsibility and mindfulness in the case of biodegradable packaging. Interactions with diverse natural materials and innovation pave the way for a more sustainable design practice.
