Rebranding for Alca Active Care
A local skincare brand that already has its crowd because of its good products. The wide range of their goods consists of essential skincare such as face wash, masks, acne treatment, etc.
Our role
Alca came to us because, despite their growing customers, they want more; to expand to the untapped market with better branding and a fresh look. And nowadays, we need a strong brand identity and storytelling to convince people to buy their products to stand out from the crowd.
So, our role is to gain trust, kicking off with well-designed branding, including designing the packaging, conducting creative production, and managing their social media presence.

Brand Identity
New logo and brand narrative, everything is entirely new. The brand has "active" as a part of the brand name, and they also have a slogan that sounds: actively caring your skin. Inspired by it, we decided to portray the brand's persona as active but still having time to do their skincare routine. We want to make an impression that your skincare routine should be easy and that it's for everybody with each unique activity. It almost feels like the brand speaks, "you do you; let us take care of your skin."
Color Palette
The color palette differs from the old ones. It balances soft and vibrance colors, so it's feminine but still captures the "active" feel.
Packaging
The packaging must bring something new and fresh to the table to represent the new branding, so we went with the aesthetically pleasing and content worthy for the customers. The design was minimalist and direct but enough to stand out. We also built the packaging system from one product to another so that all products have the same characteristics.
Art Direction
The photo and video directions are pretty simple; how to show that everybody with their daily activity can be effortlessly beautiful with Alca. We kept it clean and honest by displaying their product ingredients and benefit.

Videography
We made marketing videos that are worth watching and have a great storyline despite the short duration. Most of the videos are a series of our products in the everyday situation of the customers.
Social Media
The old Alca's social media presence needs more organic content to make them more relevant because its goal is to tap into a broader market. The communication must be presented in two ways. First, by creating relatable content, we have to make people believe that Alca listens and cares about what other people say about the products. Second, we created this project's editorial plan from the awareness until the desired funnel to have all kinds of content; people will fully understand the brand, leading them to the purchase decision.
